1, 2PE/3PE anti-corrosion method:

The bottom layer of the three-layer PE is an epoxy coating, the middle layer is a polymer adhesive, and the top layer is a polyolefin. The adhesive may be a modified polyolefin containing a polar group grafted onto the polyolefin carbon bond backbone. In this way, the adhesive can be fused to the surface unmodified polyolefin, and the polar group can be cured with the epoxy resin. This combination is characterized by the optimum bond strength between the three coatings, and the properties and characteristics of the layers allow the three layers of coating to complement each other. It is characterized by high cost and complicated process.

The first layer of epoxy powder (FBE>100um) (epoxy powder >100um refers to more than 100 microns)

The third layer of polyethylene (PE) is 2.5 to 3.7 mm. The three materials are integrated and firmly combined with the steel tube to form an excellent anti-corrosion layer.

3PE anti-corrosion layer combines the anti-corrosion performance of the fusion-bonded epoxy powder with the anti-mechanical scratch protection of polyethylene, and solves the sales problem of polyethylene. Due to the poor adhesion of the hot melt adhesive, the stripped polyethylene provides a shielding effect on the cathodic protection. 3PE anti-corrosion layer has high requirements on the surface treatment condition of the pipe, and should reach the anchoring depth of 50μm～75μm. The side will affect the anti-cathode peeling and waterproof penetration ability of the anti-corrosion layer.
